This series is an intimate portrayal of the heart, soul, and tenacious spirit of icon Frida Kahlo. Her passionate spirit is representative of how she lived her life despite her adverse health conditions. As an artist, Frida expressed her uncensored truth in her iconic paintings. As an activist, she was persistent in her beliefs. She is a true inspiration to all who love her. My presentation of Frida is done in a colorful Pop Art style with excerpts from her personal diary. My intention is to provide an intimate insight into the mind of F R I D A .
